Community Sponsorship

We love having the ability to show support to events and other businesses in our community. In August our employees Dante & Avery attended a golf outing at Hickory Hills Golf Course in Eau Claire, WI to benefit the L.E. Phillips Career Development Center. There was a great turnout at the event and we were able to showcase a stunning 1969 Chevy Camaro!

Featured Build | 1955 Pontiac Chieftain

Without too much time passing, Austin Cobb and his father Patrick talked their friend into letting them drag the Pontiac out of the field and over to MCR so they could bring it back to life again. Mr. Cobb had worked with MCR on other cars in the past so he knew that they could handle something less commonly restored like this Chieftain. Because parts are incredibly hard to find, we had to resort to salvaging many of them. Overall the car was actually in pretty good shape with most of the rust damage confined to the floor. Austin had MCR restore the car to match the codes on the body tag with the exceptions of a factory A/C install and the dog dish hubcaps and yes, the red carpet in the interior was how the car was delivered. Featured Build | 1937 Ford Fordor

Tami Steindorf’s family had this ’37 Ford Fordor in their garage for what seemed like forever. In fact, it hadn’t been driven since 1956. Far too often, cars stashed away like this lose their shine over time waiting for whoever owns them to finally get started on the restoration they always talked about. However, this one was stashed in a garage where it aged very well. The restoration process began with a huge decision, what engine would they use to power this beauty? An LS variation was was initially suggested but after some analysis in the end MCR thought that a Ford Coyote crate engine would be a better suited fit for long road trips.
