Featured Magazine Stories

MCR is always excited to work with and be featured in magazines. Recently we have been in two different publications, Chevy Hardcore and Hot Rod magazine. With Chevy Hardcore we have been working on articles on this 1973 Nova. We documented this car’s rust removal process and the important steps to take when disassembling the car to remove any rust areas. Check out the full article here! And with Hot Rod Magazine we featured our partner Miller welders. In the article, we explored the differences between traditional transformer welders and inverter welders, and we also offer some very useful tech tips. Check out that article here!

Rock Falls Fallout Drags 2023

In September, we attended the Rock Falls Raceway Fallout Drags #8 in Rock Falls, Wisconsin. This event has vintage drag racing, a car show, and a swap meet! We brought out our 1969 Camaro to show, which was completely restored by MCR a number of years ago and still stands out at shows. Our own Tony O’Meara participated in the racing with his 1932 Willy’s truck. We always have a blast attending and being a part of these events. It’s a great opportunity to see some amazing cars and trucks and to meet other car enthusiasts. Stay up to date with where we’ll be next on our Events tab on our website!

Community Involvement

At MCR, we love to support our local community. You may have seen us at events like the Burger King Classic Car Shows, which were held every Thursday at different Burger King locations in Chippewa Falls until late August. We were able to attend a few of these shows and meet many members of the community. You may have even seen some of our shop staff there with their own classic cars! New Employees

As we continue to grow, we recently have had two new experts join our team. Israel Acosta (Left) who will be working in the Paint and Body Shop. Spencer Ice (Right) will be the new Digital Marketing Manager. Both are recent Graduates of McPherson College and have a four-year degree in Automotive Restoration.

Upgrades in the Shop

Here at MCR we are constantly upgrading and improving. Recently we upgraded our upholstery department by upgrading the floor in the work area. While we were upgrading the flooring, we also had all of our sewing machines professionally serviced. We recently added a new piece of equipment to our assembly department: a Robinair air conditioning recovery and recharging unit. This allows us to fully charge and inspect all A/C systems on our restorations in-house, thanks to our newly A/C-certified technician.

Customer Deliveries

Over the summer, we’ve delivered several cars to customers. We love seeing happy customer reunited with their pride and joy, and we’re so excited to be a part of their journey. Some of the cars we delivered are a 1968 Shelby Gt500 KR, a 1968 Plymouth GTX, a 1962 Chevy Impala, a 1967 Chevy Nova, a 1999 Shelby Series 1, and a 1971 Ford LTD.
